Kay Hagan's Greenville office vandalized

Early Thursday morning, one of Kay Hagan's offices in eastern North Carolina was attacked by a vandal.

Greenville Police say another swastika and the words, "Criminal Government" were spray painted on the wall of the Hendrix Building on Evans Street. Other nearby downtown buildings were also spray painted with similar characteristics and symbols.

WNCT-TV has video:

This is beyond outrageous. And this close to Christmas too?

If you know anything at all about this incident, call the Greenville Police Department at 252-329-EYES (3937) or Pitt/Greenville Crimestoppers at 252-758-7777. You can also text “PITTGV” and any information you have to 274637.

Probably a tea-bagger

But it could also be someone who's had a run-in with the local court system, since he painted "what good is justice if the scales are bent" on the steps of the courthouse. Or both, maybe.

Even if the scales are bent

painting hate signs and vandalizing property, government or otherwise, is the wrong way to go about changing things. The woods are full of idiots, and sadly, this just proves it.

"And this close to Christmas, too"

What, pray tell, does Christmas have to do with it? A crime is a crime - it's proximity to a holiday - no matter what religion that holiday belongs to - makes it no more severe.
