Myron Cope dies.

You can see some of Myron's memorable moments below.

Myron was THE voice for the Pittsburgh Steelers and people throughout western PA would turn down their TV and put a radio on top of it. We did it throughout college and every Yoi! was met with enthusiasm.

Myron was a Steeler's fan for Steeler's fans.

So, I hope everyone will fly their terrible towels, which Mr. Cope invented, at half-mast today.

I lived in da Burgh for 15 years, and Myron called every sport there, I think. ::sigh:: RIP, indeed.

Quite a character.

Like i said, everyone either loved or hated Myron Cope. He was the voice of the four Super Bowl wins in the 1970s and the originator of the terrible towel. Quite an impact.
