No big surprise, but it still needs exposure:

And I'm also waiting for the faux-Libertarians to howl about government waste...still waiting...
Take a look at this map, showing the seats Dems need to win to flip 7 whole state legislatures. The numbers are SMALL. A strategic, focused effort can do it.

I think it's fantastic the DLCC is targeting NC for additional resources, but there's always the risk of complacency brought on by such support. We broke the supermajority on our own without (much of) their assistance, and we need to move forward as if it's the same thing this time.

And the fact that this won't move the needle with his followers is even more absurd...
In the Hickory Daily Record: If the WestEd report were simply designed to inform legislative deliberation, that would be one thing. But the play is to use it to produce a “consent decree,” agreed to by everyone except the General Assembly. https://t.co/My5CC8JQnr #ncpol #ncga

Tough shit. The NC Supreme Court has already spoken, twice. In light of that, the General Assembly's failure to comply is categorically unconstitutional. You can try to couch it any way you want, but it doesn't change those realities.

Great leaders wouldn't support a con-man in the White House.
Filing continues this week, but we've already got two competitive races for #WakeBOC.
There's a rematch with @Pierce4NC trying to unseat @Sig4Wake.
And @MariaforWake and @electaudra both want @JessicaHolmesNC's seat, who is not seeking re-election. #wakepol #ncpol

I was kinda hoping he would go after Tillis. Then again, a Senator Walker might be enough to drive me back to drinking.
Documents show UNC paid $75,000 to keep Confederate group off campus, limiting the SCV's ability to display any flags or banners or sponsor any events on any UNC campus for only 5 years.#SilentSham #NCPOL https://t.co/C8re9wSOZp pic.twitter.com/P856Xl03HR

So $2.5 million was not enough, they had to add a $75,000 bribe into the mix? Isn't there usually only about seven of them who show up anyway? What about other groups, like ACTBAC from Alamance County? Gonna pay them too? Grrr.
Elizabeth Warren’s campaign ads are basically writing themselves at this point. Our system is rigged to make the rich richer and keep everyone else so busy struggling to get by that they can’t fight it. #ncpol https://t.co/7aihH3P827

The only way they should get away with paying no taxes is if they were structured like a Benefit Corporation, ensuring much of their profits are put to good use. But that makes way too much sense, so don't expect changes anytime soon.
On that depressing note, here's your Onion:
