I think we can all agree that young voters are a reliably progressive voice, and we need them now.

Here are a few "commonsensical" Trump judicial appointees:

Leonard Steven Grasz, a nominee for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, which is based in St. Louis, received a rare “not qualified” rating from the American Bar Association because his “temperament issues, particularly bias and lack of open-mindedness, were problematic.” He serves on the board of an organization that has supported the closing of clinics offering women reproductive care, has condemned Supreme Court decisions that protect women’s rights, and has asserted that abortions put women’s lives at risk.

Mr. Grasz, a lawyer in Omaha, has supported “conversion therapy” for gay youth and legislation that would allow employers to discriminate against gay employees under the guise of religious liberty. To Mr. Grasz, marriage equality is a “threat” and evolution should be taught as a theory, not as a fact.

The District Court nominee Jeff Mateer described transgender children as part of “Satan’s plan.” Another District Court nominee, Mark Norris, suggested that being Muslim is synonymous with being a terrorist. He also led efforts to prohibit communities from removing Confederate monuments in public places.

And then there are those who have already been confirmed, overwhelmingly along party lines. John Bush (confirmed 51-47) will sit on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.

On his Senate Judiciary Committee questionnaire he failed to disclose that he belonged to a social club that, for years, had excluded African-Americans, women and Jews.

Amy Coney Barrett, one of Mr. Trump’s few female nominees, has been confirmed (55-43) for a seat on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago. In a 1998 article, she criticized the Supreme Court justice William Brennan for saying that his oath to uphold the law trumped any obligation to his Roman Catholic faith.

In other words, Taliban judges. Trump appoints Taliban judges, who place religious and moral factors above Constitutional ones. Our legal system is being slowly infiltrated by genuine radicals, and that damage will be permanent, and virtually impossible to remedy.

Trump has since fixed his mistake and congratulated the people of Missouri instead of Kansans, but he should lose both of those states for such an ignorant gaffe.

It's just a platform. It is only as accurate as the people who use it decide it should be, and therein lies the problem. We can rant and rave about how bad Facebook is, but we need to be doing that in a mirror.

Part-time, seasonal, barely above minimum wage, and you just might lose a hand working there. But "Yay."

You know, part of me is glad they blocked witnesses and new evidence. It exposes the depths of their cowardice, and it stands as an unspoken admission by GOP Senators themselves that they believe Trump *should* be removed from office, but their personal careers are more important to them than doing the right thing for the country.

Okay, what the hell is going on with East Carolina? Has their leadership always been so full of schemes and ethical flaws, or is this a symptom of a broken UNC BOG? You know what, I'm not sure I want to know...

Thank you. It's incredibly frustrating to keep finding these chemicals, yet nobody can "find" the culprits leaking them. I'm not saying it would be easy to figure it out, but a process of elimination would eventually do it.

It's not the juiciest of quotes, but it had me nodding:

I didn't believe it, either. And I'm still having trouble believing it. The race shouldn't have even been close; Trump had already demonstrated he had neither the qualifications nor the temperament to be President, and he's proven that every day since taking office. But my faith in the American electorate has been permanently shaken, and trying to figure out which Dem candidate would give us the best chance feels like a pointless venture.
